In 1996, Theodore C. Vora, P.E. decided he wanted to use his oilfield engineering knowledge to build a unique drilling rig that focused on a balance of speed and safety. He started Veristic in his house, with just one other employee. From such simple beginnings Veristic is now a 16 person company that has over 50 drilling structures working in the field today.

A man of many cultures, this Romanian from South Africa graduated from Texas A&M. He earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. Calin’s favorite part of engineering is working up new designs in Inventor. Calin also helps write back end software for the Operations Team. Calin never misses a day hitting the weights but really hates cardio work.
Charles joined Veristic in 2002 after graduating from The University of Texas. Building on the foundation his father laid, Charles has grown Veristic into what it is today. In his free time, he enjoys photography and rock climbing. He and his wife Quynh have three little future Veristic employees, Liem, Han and Aang.
A proud University of Houston Cougar, Tony joined Veristic in 2017. Born and raised in San Antonio, earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering. His favorite part of engineering is the problem solving. After reading this bio you can officially say you now know a “shrimp enthusiast”. Tony will proudly show off his 6 aquariums. When he’s not shrimping or solving problems, Tony hangs out with his girlfriend Brina.
